The day my camera died

I realized it has been over a month since my birthday and I never mentioned how WONDERFUL it was! My birthday was September 3rd and I had to work.  It wasn't so bad, I got to leave at six and while I was working Connor was able to do all of his sports playing and watching.  However, he had informed WELLLLLL in advance that there were pretty big games on my birthday that he was going to want to watch.  So, when I was driving home from work I was fully prepared to come home, make dinner and sit and watch the Oregon Football game with Connor for most of the night. Buuuuuuut when I opened the door......

I saw streamers and balloons and wonderful posters around our house! Then family members popped out of the corners screaming "SURPRISE!!!!!!!"   Karissa is awesome. She knew that I was probably going to end up watching sports all day and wanted to do something special and she went over and beyond.  She and Toby brought the boys, pizza, a homemade Piñata, and all the awesome decorations.  Kendra made me the best cake ever (funfetti) AND gave me some peanut butter M&M's and Connor did a good job at keeping it all secret and found me a super cute coat for my birthday.  Also, I can't forget to mention my loving parents, in laws and Tyleener!!! I got a special card from my mom AND Tyleen with some birthday money in it that I spent QUICKLY-muuuuch too quickly- on new cute clothes!!! And Dan and Annette gave me a gift card to Ikea that I still haven't found just what I wanted from there yet.  Buuuuut I am SO super excited about it! I felt soooooooo extremely loved on my birthday! I can't believe I am TWENTY FOUR years old!!!!!! That's so stinkin old, its ridiculous.

Buuuuut this was the same day that we pulled out our camera and found that it was BROKEN! It will still turn on and take a picture, but the screen is all white and won't show previous taken pictures or show you a picutre of what its taking a picture of.  The only picture we got of my birthday was this "tester" picutre to see if it still took pictures.  I know I know, i look aweeeeesome.  Buuuut it does its job of documenting the day.

The day turned out being so much fun! I ate lots of candy and sweets and yesss, if youre wondering, the oregon football game WAS on in the background through the whole party:) Thank you Lander family for helping me celebrate my birthday and making it so stinkin awesome! You guys rock!
